More about Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Products
 |
Our Commitment
The foundation of Dr. Hauschka Skin Care is a deep commitment to authenticity. Creating authentic holistic skin care products requires an in-depth understanding of the skin's rhythms, functions and capacity for healing. Rather than covering or suppressing symptoms of imbalance, the natural ingredients in Dr. Hauschka Skin Care preparations are carefully chosen for their ability to stimulate the skin's abilities to heal itself. In keeping with this holistic philosophy, ingredients are carefully grown, processed and packaged using ecologically sound, socially conscious methods. |
 |
In the gardens of Dr. Hauschka Skin Care's manufacturer WALA-Heilmittel, healing plants are cultivated using a unique, organic approach to agriculture known as biodynamics. Biodynamics is a holistic system, which takes into account the farm or garden's relationship to its immediate environment as well as its dependence on natural cycles and rhythms. The botanicals harvested from WALA's biodynamic gardens are processed using a unique system called rhythmical processing, whereby the vitality and healing forces of the plant are retained in extract form. Thanks to the methods of biodynamic agriculture and rhythmical processing, the botanical ingredients in Dr. Hauschka Skin Care products have a level of purity and quality unique in the industry. |
| Authentic, lasting beauty is the result of life-long care and respect for the skin. For over 35 years, Dr. Hauschka Skin Care has led the way in holistic skin care, offering preparations of the purest natural ingredients free of synthetic colors, fragrances, fillers or preservatives. Working in harmony with your skin, these products allow natural beauty to shine through. The result is skin that radiates a healthy glow. |

Our Philosophy
Dr. Hauschka Skin Care manufacturer WALA Heilmittel is deeply commited to the principles of holistic business. Their ongoing misson involves fair trade practrices and sustainable, biodynamic agriculture in the interest of ecological and social well-being. A perfect example of this holistic approach in action is the shea butter project of Burkina Faso Africa.
With support from WALA, over 350 women from two neighboring villages organized a producer’s cooperative with the goal of working toward the efficient and fully organic production of Shea Butter. The results have been a staggering success. |
