This Mason Pearson Handy size brush has 6 rings of tufts of pure boar bristle. This pure bristle Mason Pearson brush is best suited for fine to normal hair of short to medium-long length.  The brush is 8 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide.  Generally used for fine to normal hair.  Includes cleaning brush.

Long Hair:
In general, the longer the hair the bigger the brush required. However, if a person is more comfortable with a smaller brush, it may be necessary to use a smaller mixture model instead of a larger pure bristle one.
